I am looking for someone with high-level nursing or medical background -- possibly retired R.N. -- who could accompany my elderly family member to doctor appointments. This would include sitting in at the visit, helping my family member formulate questions for her doctor, giving input to my family member about the doctor's recommendations and communicating with me. My family member is very intelligent, is quite alert but has a short term memory problem so she needs help at doctor visits. She will remember some of what the doctor says but not all the details. And I need details! I have a full-time job that does not allow me time off to do this.
This job would be perfect for a retired nurse or a nursing student. I also have two friends who are in the same position with their loved one. So there would be the possibility of more work.
Please help! If you can't, but know of someone, please spread the word!
Hourly wage negotiable.
This would be in the North Dallas area.
Requirements
